Treatment and Communication Style:
I am a firm believer in collaboration and I believe that therapy is as good as the effort put into it. I’m compassionate but direct. I find joy in empowering individuals to take an active role in their treatment and achieve their goals.
Treatment Modalities:
I will use a variety of modalities that best fit the individual and their unique situation and needs. I am telehealth only. A few of the modalities I use include CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, SFT
Professional Interests:
- I am trained in and have 9 years in the field of Forensic Social Work, which is a passion of mine, and I have extensive experience assisting clients within the criminal justice system.
- I am currently on the Board of Directors of NASW-NE serving as President-Elect. I value our local chapter and take pride in being a part of its growth and development for social workers across Nebraska.
- I am a UNO alum and believe in the importance of giving back which is why I have consistently supervised at least one practicum student for the last 5 years. I feel strongly about social work and title protection in Nebraska so education about our field is very important to me as well.
