Kathleen (“K.G”) Langdon is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked as a mental health nurse since 1986 and as an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2006. K.G. is dedicated to giving her adult clients a thorough assessment which includes adequate, undivided time and attention to feel listened to and heard. She then can help patients explore medication options and choose the one with which they are most comfortable as well as explore other health related behaviors that impact mental health. K.G. has been awarded a “Friend of NAMI” by the National Alliance on Mental Illness and a “Heroes in the Fight” award by the Mental Health Association of Nebraska. She has been a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association since 2007 and has been on the Disability Rights Nebraska Advisory Council since 2019. K.G. received her Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing. She treats issues of mood, thought and anxiety and is sensitive to the needs of those in the LGBTQIA+ communities and survivors of trauma. Her goal is to assist people to improve their quality of life to the highest possible level. She believes every person has a unique wellness path and that the job of mental health practitioners is to help people explore and travel that path.
